It's a brilliant day, could do 2-7 in EA out for Ashcroft and into Cosby then.

Ah one or two dirty clashes now, Metronomy and Christine & the Queens the worst one, but I have seen Metronomy before and could catch the second half. The Streets & Florence the other one, two very different types of music, I'll let the group I'm with decide that one on Sunday night.

btw just a word of warning - clashfinder end times are just guesses so if you are planning on going to catch the end of someone there is a slight chance the finish times might not be 100% accurate. Not sure how long they usually leave between acts on some of the stages?

Happy enough with my lineup but sorry I have to leave Sunday morning cos the young fella is starting in UL on Monday. Have to drive home then get him to the accommodation by 4 on Sunday .

Missing Johnny Marr is a killer.

I think the whole day is unreal, couple of clashes but easy to make the decision for them, All Tvvins Vs Marr,
Florence Vs Parquet Courts & Micheal Kiwanuka, sorry Flo you can float away for yourself

Yea, I'm giving Florence and the Machine a miss to spend the evening in the electric arena

Christ - Johnny Marr would have been on my must see list and from new music that I've recently discovered Cavetown, Sasami, Autre Monde. All playing Sunday. I am so sad about this but no doubt can number 3 on Friday will remind me that I still get to dance around a field with wild abandon for 2 days...

Some sticky clashes for Sunday evening and even though I've seen Michael Kiwanuka and the streets before, it will still be one of those over FatM.

What's left to be announced still for stage times?

Did they run out of money when booking the acts for The Throwback Stage this year?
I half suspect it will be on the back of a truck this year...

If anyone has a Child of Prague they can put out now would be the time to do it. And pray to all your gods that the feckin forecast changes!

RE: Groove Armada - it's just going to be a DJ set, isn't it?
We wouldn't be lucky enough to have them do a live set somewhere.

I'm seriously down about having to go home on Sunday - it's never been this bad/good

It's a pity Natasha is an absolute wagon who treats her staff really poorly in front of punters. Every time I've been to her stand (the van) and she's been present she's barking at them, speaking to them like they're idiots and she's not much better to customers. I wouldn't normally speak poorly of a small Irish business, especially one serving veggie and vegan food, but I just steer clear of anything with the branding now.

Funny you mention that, she was exactly the same at Kaleidoscope. I thought she was just stressed out but it was the same every time I went there, her poor husband! 😬

Going to assume they'll do a DJ set after Kevin Kilbane, they had him open up for them in District 8 last year with AIB so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happening

Just all the Freetown stuff from what I can make out, earliest I'll ever have been able to print clash finder and be fairly confident of it.

When is media day on site?
They usually have one last surprise at that don't they?

  • Registered Users Posts: 293 ✭✭Kepler21

The clashes of yesterday have got worse today.
Sat. afternoon: Biig Piig, Freya Ridings, Gerry Cinnamon and Maverick Sabre are 4 of my must sees. At least I can get to some of all of them. Probably see all of Freya, and hop between the others.

Sunday night: FATM, Michael Kiwanuka, Courtney Barnett all the the same time? Somebody saw my must see list and decided to pi** on it. Whatever about yesterdays discussion between FATM and Kiwanuka, this is a whole other level. Seriously cheesed off now.
