I loved the BEPs first two albums too - and would love to see them - but Fergie's vocals are an important part of them - and if she's not there - it will seem a bit empty...……….

What's the chance of Sleaford Mods???

Hardly 2 years on the bounce, but they do seem to be free.

Early stuff was alright to be fair, went downhill pretty quick though.

    No.

If you start out with mediocre, and then slide to terrible, it doesn't turn mediocre into alright or good.

The Black Eyed Peas are on a lot of European Summer festivals & haven't seen any mention of them coming to Ireland. Could pop up in one of those Saturday night slots filling the NERD/Tribe Called Quest spot.

    Oh nooooooooo!

Reading the Beatyard thread I am worried they could steal one or two good acts from under picnics nose. Groove Armada, Robyn and Basement Jaxx all being talked about, any of those would be great to see in Stradbally.

I also reckon Gerry Cinnamon will play at EP, don't know any of his songs but he seems very popular at the moment and is playing in the Olympia this weekend so wouldn't surprise me if he was in next weeks announcement.

I don’t get the GA hype. Debut record is nice ‘n all. To my mind very much a tier 2 act of their day.

Very good live band with a couple of decent bangers on board.

Surely worth seeing live just for superstylin'?

    Groove Armada?

Sorry that was in respnse to the post about Gerry Cinnamon but I replied to the wrong comment, I think I deleted the original post. I really should stop posting on forums.

A few decent tracks though over-rated I'll agree. But not tier 2 on line-ups, headlined EP twice including the first one.
