Doubt it unless the top line is actually sub headliners but it looks like the top line is the actual headliners.

NERD were on the top line of the initial poster last year, before moving to the second line later when The Prodigy were announced.

Jaysus just reading the comments on the facebook page, there is literally no pleasing people and yet they will still go out and buy a ticket for next year before the line up is announced, the mind boggles

I wouldn't be surprised if this happens and Tame Impala are added. Them, Jonny Marr, Aphex Twin and Adnerson Paak would be a ood second announcement.

Lots to keep us happy. The Strokes will be great, I'll be up the front for that. Delighted Jarvis will be there, ditto Echo and the Bunnymen. Very happy, really.

Looks like we will be bumping into each other a lot again this year.

Not for ages id say. May or June? It's not like they have more tickets to sell so I doubt they're in a rush.

Headliners don't do much for me but otherwise, that's a good lineup IMO.

The Strokes would be worth a look but haven't released decent music since 'Room on Fire'. I wouldn't go see Florence for any money having seen her twice and hated both shows; Hozier and the 1975 not really my thing.

Below that, though... Billie Eilish, Christine and the Queens, Four Tet, James Blake, Courtney Barnett, Mitski, Parquet Courts, Lets Eat Grandma, Sons of Kemet are a very good start.

Same on the Instagram post. Same ones complaining are the ones who probably don’t have a ticket, have one and didn’t pay for it themselves, or will sell their ticket at extortionate rates to some poor unfortunate on DoneDeal. Only snapping the headliners aren’t in the charts.

Last year it was 3rd August when The Prodigy were added.

to be fair, most of this thread is people complaining about the acts at ep so that shouldnt be surprising either

    That lineup is cat

    love this one from facebook!!!

The Strokes actually hurt my ears. I seen hozier in a pub few weeks ago. Here's hoping the 2nd lot are better. Coz apart from the 1975 this blows.

I'm not complaining, I am quite happy with it, I won't be going to see Hozier or The 1975 but that doesn't mean I will give out about them being on the line up

just out of interest whats the typical demographic of fans of the 1975?

The Strokes??! One band I wouldn't go see if they were playing in the back garden, never mind paying for a ticket :D

Actually wasn't a fan of them till I saw them at EP in 2016 (my first picnic, I'm 26)

There is. You just have to check out a couple of people you may not know about.
