Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I live in the UK and every day for the past few months its constantly "Jeremy Corbyn is a racist" ... "... is an anti-semite" etc.

Now if you were to call someone a racist in the papers usually this is associated with quotes showing the bad things he has said. Online there is usually loads of videos showing the bad things he has said.

I cant find any quotes or any videos showing him doing or saying anything which could even be remotely considered to be anti Semitic. Ive googled and read loads of articles and cant find anything.

WTF is this about. It seriously looks like a conscious effort to discredit him by the media.

In my opinion he should be suing every paper in the country for libel and slander.

It seems that if Israel is criticized in any way by anyone in politics they are targeted by the media as being anti Semites.

Plan to kill the opposition to the Tory's so they can continue the train wreck that is Brexit?

To cite just one incident, he was photographed in Tunis in 2014, laying wreaths on the graves of members of Black September, the group behind the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre that killed 11 Israelis.

He has a long standing history of associating with extreme antisemites, holocaust deniers etc.

His party have been very tardy in dealing with antisemitism in its ranks and there is a serious problem there, which he has admitted to.

I think that he is more a fool than a genuine bigot in this regard and has given his opponents numerous sticks to beat him with.

Does he tolerate bigotry when it suits him, without a doubt. Would he associate with people who had these views about other groups, even if he agreed with them on important issues, not a chance.

There is a lot of cognitive dissonance in Jeremy to square his views all together.

He is critical of some of the actions of the Israeli state in the past, and has sympathized with aspects of the Palestinian cause. That's all this is about at root. That will get you labelled an "anti-semite".

Specifically, this round of Corbyn bashing started over whether the Labour Party did in full accept the text of a document which did in fact make the claim that criticism of Israel was often anti Semitic.

    But he wasn't.
He was attending a ceremony to commemorate the people killed in an Israeli air strike on a PLO compound in Tunisia which killed 71 people, the vast majority of them Palestinian and Tunisian civilians, of which 4 had supposed links to Black September. He was there with several other UK politicians from a few different parties.

Apparently it was as bad as the "Rivers of Blood" speech. He should have compared Muslim women to letterboxes or deported a load of people to the West Indies instead, would have made life a lot easier on himself.

Watch the Al Jazeera documentary series on the Israeli government infiltration of politics and media in the UK if you want to understand what is actually going on.

They did a similar more extensive documentary on the situation in the US which is currently being held up by US and Israeli bodies claiming it is a security threat.
