Do you buy from supermarkets that sell these brands?
Do you ever have a Ballymaloe product in a resteraunt?
Do you ever buy a supermarket own branded item that might be produced by Ballymaloe?
Do you eat in resterunts/cafe/etc where the staff have often trained at Ballymaloe or often doing refresher courses.
If you were really serious about the matter you'd boycott these business and let them know why.

I dont buy the allen brand since Tim became a convicted paedophile.
If there is a magazine or paper with anything to do with the Allen family I wont pick it up.

Regarding the staff in resterunts it's very common for them to have received some training at Ballymaloe. It's very popular in my experience. I used work in the hospitality industry trained at in college and Ballymaloe training was very common.

I don't really care but you'd have to be very careful buying relishes or similar sauces to those on the Ballymaloe range. It's something if you were passionate about you need to research.
Yes, it's very common with people to do courses at Ballymaloe. It's really popular with people with Independent cafe/deli style places. You can go there and you learn to make various things and don't waste time doing stuff you'd be doing in an Institute of Technology and the courses are short and would good on your CV.
My local deli often even posts on facebook sometimes the amount of Ballymaloe relish they've gone through.

I don't think anyone here is saying that looking at child pornography images is ok and not something to be abhorred and disgusted by. The issue is with some posters who are making assumptions about Rachel Allen based on nothing at all. She has commited no crime. Now you may not like her and role your eyes at her accent but the anger towards her is unfair.

As for the family appearing to stand by Tim Allen, well perhaps they did and still do. Or perhaps it was an ill thought out display for fear of brand damage but they live completely separate lives to him. Or they initially panicked and couldn't get their heads around the fact that the very same man they loved yesterday is now a person who has images of children being abused. How in the name of jaysus a person manages that kind of shock is beyond me.

Could you understand bitterness towards Tim Allen the convicted paedophile ? Who served no time in jail and was walked into court by his family.
