He made his own stupid choices, not the drug squad, but gotta defend 'em agin!

    Where am I defending him?
A sports car is going to stand out in east cork like a sore thumb.
The Guards probably know his number due to previous shennighans.
What a dream for the local drug squad, just swoop on little Josh and you fill 10% of your quota for prosecutions for the year!! Poor little Josh just cant help himself. What a tool!

I am waiting for someone to correct me but yeah messing with 15 year girls now is the same now as it was back then unless you are a member of the travelling community

Hi again, it doesnt matter if it is legal or illegal in your opinion. Poor auld Joshua is going back to do porridge and that is the law. The Judge has stated that Joshua mammy isnt going to buy him off like his grandaddy did.

Hi amigo, u still didn't answer my question, I know all that, but why is cannabis illegal

I have no idea, I am not a doctor/lawyer/politician/addiction specialist/psychologist. All I know is it is illegal and little Joshua is going to be on a diet of cold turkey and porridge for some time to come. Has any one of the above professions entertained you with an answer?

Dont know and its not just the weed Josh is into, its the icing sugar is up his nose too. What a little screw up and I heard the nanny pushed one out for him. Like I said more drama than Dallas. All we need now is JR Ewing figure.

Do you think Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger are dope heads. The 2 of them made millions from their music, "dated" the most beautiful women on the planet and received knighthoods

Well then the Junkie that used to squat on the steppes on the way down from the Butter Museum to Popes Quay must have been Albert Einstein. Seen to many lads piss away brilliant college opportunities on weed. That was their own chance to escape poverty. The stones and McCartney were just a few in 10 million.

Wrong again, over 99% of people who use drugs do NOT die from them, google cocaine-related deaths in Ireland

Seen many friends succeed very well in business whilst still smoking weed to this day!
I don't mean small businesses either, like ....global businesses. Others are doing fairly well in civil service and legal, but very much in the closet of course.

And none of them came from wealthy connected famille either btw, just their own hard work.

There's plenty of normal functional people around you still in the closet about their drug consumption. Just look at Canada or US, people just get on without any fear of the pearl clutchers.

Not my cup of tea though.

turning cheap tricks like car racing and drugs.

What does the phrase tell you? please elaborate?

Tells me that you know SFA about car racing or drugs.

Both pretty expensive hobbies/habits/ways to make a living.

your history in this thread tells me that either you have an axe to grind with the Allens (no, I don't want to know what it is) or that you have a very warped sense of what personal liberty or family actually is.

The chap makes his own decisions (Many are poor), his family try and help him deal with his realities (Personal issues) and consequences (legal implications) as best they can.

You keep advocating that they turn their backs on him and throw him to the worst of his fate. Your only evidence in support of this has been the 1 in 1000 success stories of people that found "rock bottom" and managed to turn their lives around.
Ironically you completely fail to address the fact that NONE of these tragically scarce success stories did it on their own. They ALL had the support of someone (priest, counsellor, sponsor, family member, lover, pet whatever) that gave them a reason and a backtsop to support them in their recovery.
You also completely fail to mention the vast majority of end-games for people that get abandoned to deal with their addiction alone, (Mental health decline, sickness, and an early death)

You have a serious selection bias in your chosen solution because you only listen to the success stories, the people that battle it every day and never truly win are too effing busy trying to keep their heads above water to write books or give motivational speeches.
The reality is that 40% of the population of Ireland has used or does occasionally use cannabis. The fact that the justice system is still dealing with these ridiculous laws is a national embarrasment. It needs to be decriminalised, regulated and taxed accordingly. That will take an income stream from the black market and remove a stigma and serious risk from people that have mental health issues from getting help and give busybody gossiping ignorant clowns (No names mentioned) one less curtain to peep through and less shade to throw at a lot fewer people.

It wasn't cannabis that killed JL, it was a legal item, a gun, ur slagging off PM's ex who had the misfortune to lose a limb, anyway he still has enough change in his pocket to buy the latest Ferrari or Rolls Royce. The Stones weren't paedos, Bill Wyman married a very young lady but he's long since gone from them. Please post facts, a simple google search can expose ur lies.

What does the achievements of two individuals have to do with the fact lots of dope heads have a variety of psychiatric conditions, that are most likely due to or exacerbated by drug use.

A nanny is mentioned in this article from over 3 years ago ........ https://www.echolive.ie/life/Cork-city-is-buzzing-its-great-to-be-part-of-it-9a6f35d2-b9d1-4855-b75e-3de1b5b519f7-ds

"“We are fortunate to have a great live-in nanny,” says Isaac"

Back then things were different for Joshua..... " Joshua, 16, who was working on the farm in Ballymaloe, is starting work in the kitchen at ‘Rachel’s’" It sounded like after leaving school he was working away on the family ventures to be fair.

It proves that cannabis use didn't have any adverse effect on them and the majority of its users. You used the word 'likely', that word doesn't mean definitely, how do you know some other issues didn't cause their psychiatric conditions.

Id say thats a good analogy. Lawerance Stroll is a multi billionaire who bought a Formula 1 team so his son Lance could race fast cars. His dad can afford to waste hundreds of millions of dollars on a hobby for himself and his son. The Allens arent billionaires but Lucca wants to drive Formula 1, their wealth is nowhere near the league of Formula 1 so instead they're tapping up people for a dodgy investment that will never pay off.

    there's a lot of bitterness.....so what if he's trying to race f1,

we had a formula ford driver before who's parents sank every penny into his racing and he was heading to f1 he was that good. It's an amazing tragic story.
RTE Radio 1 have a doc about him.

    It proves no such thing.
If two random dope heads suffering from psychosis are put in front of you would that prove anything?
