No like I said I really don't know what the story is with this, first I heard there was even trouble was after the Jets game, so I'm not at all up to speed on this. I took the story about the laps to not be the story in itself, but now as an indication of broader problems in the new set up, if which there are presumably many, if Monday is any indication. In itself running laps or whatever is obviously not a big deal, I just assumed that if it's leaking out of camp, that this fact alone would point to a general breakdown of trust with the players.

That is the thing though no mention of any other than bad football on their part following the Loss. No mention of disharmony or a bad locker room. They were just tactically sh1t and their play calling stunk.

Stafford looked lost. They have 2 power backs on their roster but kept trying to run Riddick inside the 10 and on short situations. Their defense was non existent Crowell had something like 10.2 ypc and after the initial Pick Darnold had his way with that secondary.

I would chalk this down to they need to hit the film room and look at the calls they made and figure it out.
Yeah, all I knew watching it was I was thoroughly enjoying it, not out of any desire of the Lions but just because it looked like we might, possibly, not finish last in the division. It was easily the worst performance Stafford ever put in, probably the worst Lions performance I've ever seen actually. To be fair to them, darnold looked really, really good, I hope for Jets fans it's not a false dawn, they've been through hell with QBs as long as I've been watching the sport and a lot longer before that.

But getting rid of a winning coach is dumb anyway, and indicative of a bad front office (someone mentioned lovie Smith, a good comparison). Their drafting looks really dodgy the last while too.

So are you all giving yourselves a W for the steelers result no matter what you picked?

Nobody should give themselves a W for Browns v Steelers.

No, the opposite. I took it as a loss as the Steelers didn't win.

I think if you picked the Browns you could make a case!

Very fun first week, went 10-6 in week one
Terrible but very exciting browns steelers game, never saw that coming from TB and Patty Maholmes looking strong in his first start. Not a bad way to start the season!
