Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi There,
Why do these once clear plastic flowmeter things, turn brown over a few years?
Too much Iron in the water? It's a sealed system...Just wondering if something is breaking down or reacting? Like it does with an old Boiler, rad situation, this would happen without inhibitor in the system.

Probably not enough or no inhibitor added to the system when new.

Do you have any problem with having to repressurize often?

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"

I'll be meeting the plumber who did this (sisters house) on Monday, I'l ask about the inhibitor, Not sure if it's being repressureized at all since install 5 years back.
