Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys ,

Finding it hard to find info on this . I would like to try real adventure racing mountain biking etc , instead of multisport racing. It seems they all have to be teams ( nobody I know would be into this) is there anything you can do solo?. Looking to go off the beaten track a bit more and away from the roads.

    Cheers

Real Adventure racing is pretty much by definition a team sport.

Nothing to stop you joining up with a bunch of people you've never met before though. Some of my most successful races have been done on that basis.

A good intro would be the likes of the causeway coast adventure race series, presuming that it'll be organised this year. Can be done as pairs, and there's usually plenty of people looking to team up.

A bit of history and lots of information (fairly specific to the world series) in the this video which feature a few Irish clips...

Have you looked into something like the worst series?

Their Killarney event comes up next month.

    Unfortunately looks like CCAR won't be happening in 2018 / 19 :(

Was hoping for some action at home this winter.
