Do you know if these would be suitable for getting to my ceiling speakers for inclusion in my atmos setup?

    Thanks,
    -Coley.

    ..Coley,

only if you have active in-ceiling speakers..

The WT1 / WR1 are a great wireless high quality passive link but they dont include an amp..

    Keep us postedATVB,

Well... they're not quite active ceiling speakers, but I do have amps in the attic for driving them.
I just wanted to check their suitability in terms of latency and quality really I suppose.

    Hey Coley.

Here is a little link with further info on them.
    https://www.monitoraudio.com/en/blog/an-easy-guide-to-transmitting-audio-wirelessly/

You would need to re run your setup on your A/V receiver once these were installed and this will allow you to correct any delay caused by the wireless transmitter.

Thanks Kenny - I'd need to add the new height speakers anyway as I don't have any included in the current setup.

So now that begs the question - how much for a matching pair? :)

    Hi Coley.

You could for either have a look at the Monitor Audio Pro 65's retailing at £69 each. ( I could offer these for £110 for the pair)
    https://www.monitoraudio.com/en/product-ranges/pro/pro-65/

Or the Monitor Audio C165's retailing at £119.95 each. (I could offer a pair of these for £199)

Sorry maybe I confused you - I don't have the height speakers configured in the Denon Atmos settings, I do have 4 MA C165s in the ceiling already.
just looking for pricing on the WT-1/WR-1 pair.

    Received these yesterday thanks.
What kind of range should I expect from them? seem to loose contact with each other once I start to leave the room the transmitter is in.

    Hey Coley.

    HMMM......

They should run up to around 10 meters depending on the building construction.

I take it the distance they are dropping out at is less than the 10 meters?

If they are not doing the job they can of course be returned for a refund.

    Yep, less than 10m.
and I know building topography can be an issue in my house for wireless comms.
I won't give up on them yet - I'll try re-lcoating the WR-1 receiver vertically above the amp in the ceiling void.

I didn't get to hook these up at the weekend but managed to do a bit of digging around in the dark, I need to do a bit of a rewire
Also I see my speakers didn't have hoods over them - which firehoods on your website will fit over the MA C165s?

    thanks
    -Coley.

    Hey Coley.

That's always the way, nothing is ever easy :(

The Fire hoods for the C165 would be the Hoody 1's that we sell.

Priced up at £59.00 - I could offer these at £47 each.
