I'm looking to give some money to the blood bikes but when I search I get a load of different ones Leinster, East, West, South and Dublin. I'm wary of Google searches because I know how easy it is to game them. Is there one site that you can donate to that spreads it out between them all or if not what is the correct site to donate to each?

Blood Bikes East is the largest and busiest of these organisations and they deal with more hospitals. They also do link ups with the other Irish blood bikes organisations based in other parts of the county to do transports to the larger labs in the Dublin hospitals like Beaumont and Vincent’s for example.
Estimated savings they have made for Dublin hospitals and the HSE is at €760000 since 2014.

This is an amazing charity run entirely by volunteers which receives no state funding.

You can get more info and donate via their website:

Ireland first and longest established group is Blood Bike West covering a huge geographical area, and for a time, the whole country.

This year alone we've undertaken over 300 missions so far which requires a lot of organisational and financial support - and receive zero funds from the State or HSE. .

Blood Bike West holds a Charity status with Revenue and is registered with the charity Regulator : all checkable online.

You can donate through iDonate or the website www.BloodBikeWest.ie

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
