PSU gone wallop

hey, I built a pc last year and just this week its gone and shat its pants.

I turned it on, fully booted and then it went off, no power.
Pulled out the PSU, changed plug and cable and reinstalled no different

My question is what could of caused a PSU to die or what else could cause it to stop supplying power to the pc

Certain components can just go, such as capacitors. Cheap PSUs are usually a lot more expensive in the long run (not saying yours is).

where would CoolMaster rate? it was a 650w cost ~£60 off amazon

Assuming you mean CoolERmaster then yeah, they're good.

C650M and other models offer a 5yr warranty so if it fails the paperclip test they'll replace it for you

CoolerMaster are good, but not spectacular.

If it's any of these models it is still well within warranty.
Contact Amazon, see what they say. Else contact CoolerMaster.
