Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have it in my head that at Newcastle Vorm had a real purple patch of quality. Or am I thinking of someone else or a different club?

How the fcuk did Spurs win 3-0 at OT a couple of weeks back? They look a bang average outfit today.

Think Verthongen should be shouldering the blame there, no need for him to go for it, it left Vorm scrambling

You're thinking of Tim Krul. Vorm was at Swansea wasn't he?

They weren't great in the first half there either but United didn't take advantage. Sorted themselves out at half time alright.

That's what I thought. If he doesn't slide in Vorm takes the cross

Bang average often beats completely useless 3-0.

Spurs are knackered, have they any new signings they could bring on?

    Oh wait...

Bang average vs Bang average either could have won by 3.

Should be four or five at this stage. Won’t get away with that kind of wastefulness on Tuesday.

I'm getting worried why we don't pick out salah - has happened a few times

Salah and Kane both look like they need a rest. Both well off the pace.

Spurs are an absolute shambles. Poch for Utd.....?

why that 3rd would have given real sub options.

I think we will see subs soon enough

When did the rule change from "intentional handball"? Seems every little accidental is blown these days.

What was that swipe on Bobby?
    No need for it.

That slap would have killed Neymar and he would have won an gold medal for diving while falling to the ground dead.

vorm will rightly get the blame for two goals that no professional gk should ever concede

but eric dier has been cancerous both on and off the ball all day today and is blatantly below the standard he set himself in his first two seasons and which is required

Think Poch made this change about 20 minutes too late.

poch is responsible for team selection, training, tactics and motivation. no reason to exclude him for blame for our performances so far this season, new additions or not he has a very good squad.

Brilliant performance from Milner. Spurs were awful and Liverpool should have won by about 5.

Spurs wouldn't score in another 90 mins

Spurs were even more shambolic than expected, handy win.

Have to be looking at the keeper there; he shouldn't be getting beat from that sort of angle.

Wonderful technique from Lamella, most players would of hit that way over the bar.

ref won them that in the end 😉

This game highlighted the difference in trajectories of both sides since Spurs won 4-1 last season. Liverpool weren't at their best but won pretty comfortably despite a slight wobble at the end. They have the credentials to challenge for the title. Spurs meanwhile will need a big improvement ahead of Inter next week or it could be a tough spell for them.

I think Klopp will rightfully have a bit of a go at them though. The game should have been out of sight.

Stonewall peno at the end - mane on son - without a shadow of a doubt. Mane took sons standing leg from under him.

    VAR once again.

Very selfish shooting in the 2nd half especially from salah and mane.
