Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kitchen flooring

    Hi guys.

I am looking for some advice on flooring our kitchen. We are currently refurbishing a 1970s house. Knocking walls to create a kitchen/diner and seated area, which will be quite a long and narrow enough space (over 10m x 3.75m).

We are laying 12mm oak laminate throughout but was wondering if it was a good idea to continue the laminate into the kitchen or to tile it. Architect advised to break up space into two zones using tiles and laminate, but the kitchen designer advised to run laminate through.

Kitchen is graphite grey with white stone surface.DSC_0014.jpg

Wondering if the laminate will be too dark and will it be hard to maintain? We have one child on the way.

    Any advice appreciated.

Do you have kids? There will be spills and leaks in the kitchen. Unless your going for really expensive laminate it’ll be destroyed.

    Hi There,

I am curios to know what colour tiles you are considering.

We are in the process of building a similiar kitchen and I was thinking cream / ivory tiles?

We will be putting laminate in the living space.
