Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Has anybody recent experience in purchasing quartz for kitchen counter at a good price? Standard looking 20mm blanco maple or similar We are getting crazy prices ( i know it wasnt going to be cheap) plus extras like draining board, hop cut out, sink cut out etc make it insane.

Last resort before we go with a cheaper mica board or similar. My wife in particular would appreciate any tips!

    Cheers.

    Where abouts are you based.
20mm would be pretty thin for a kitchen counter top as most are 30mm. I've been looking for three small cut stone pieces for a shower and was limited to 20mm for the window sill. Tried 6 different places in the greater Dublin region and by far the most reasonable and also previously recommended here was Atelier Stone near the Walkingstown roundabout (http://www.atelierstone.ie/) Finally made my way out to them today with templates and an impressive set up and great customer service. Give them a ring next week.
