    Hey folks. Liam checking in.
    Been thinking on the Belshazzar clue. I don't think it's a Caesar cipher as I've tried that out and it's just giving me gobbildigook. Looking into Belshazzar's Feast there's a few options on Google.
    Belshazzar's Feast are a 2 man band from England. Both of their first names is Paul.
    It's also a cantata by William Walton.
    Rembrant has a painting of the feast.

    None of these give anything useable though when using the method suggested by someone above:
    Using PAUL as the key we get MYSJYBMS
    Using WALTON as the key we get JYRHYOJR
    Using REMBANDT as the key we get KYSIYAKS
    (assuming that I'm doing it right of course).

    I also tried BELSHAZR too and it also gave me nonsense so that seems to be a dead end. Anyone else any good at ciphers?

    Belshazzar's Feast, according to Wiki, is the story of "The writing on the wall".

    As per our crime scene....
    John and Mary are left to help D.I Lestrade and Scotland Yard as unexplained murders start to appear across London, Each murder scene has yellow graffiti sprayed on the walls with all of them showing the same thing sprayed “αδειάζω”. Molly Hooper is on overtime where she has found a letter burned into each corpse’s left eyelid that spells “Did you Miss Me?” except for the 3rd corpse which had had both eyelids burned into and a black phone with red lipstick marks on the screen password locked was found in their possession. The phone had a small folded paper message under the leather cover which read “13-1-18-11-19-1-18-5-23-15-18-4-19”

    There's literally writing on the wall.

    Google Tran.....I mean, my keen understanding of the Greek Language....translates that as the word "Empty".

    Using Clodagh's idea of a Keyword cipher, that leaves us with....

    In the OP, something is wrote on the walls in grafiti.
    Somebody else figured out what that means.

    Try that word instead.

    Well done Derry? Were you only waiting to post that to see who tried to complete it? if so sorry for my being obtuse and you having to explain it to me on thread but tbh I don't think we would have gotten the extra info otherwise.

    So her power is to make us think there are more wolves than there are?

    Well done Derry. I'm confused as fcuk. Thought: REDBEARD doesn't tell us anything about the wolves though? Now understanding it's just something to unlock the clue.

    Our first confirmed villager? Or a very ballsy wolf? Barring further evidence, I'm happy to put him in the former.

    blackmail...you make someone do something or you reveal something about them is usually how it works (not that i'm an expert or anything :p).

    so the person has to do something (post something for eg) or their role will be revealed possibly

    I think he did well to get us extra info to work off but no way am I clearing anyone as being confirmed on day 0.

    If we take it that the numbers translate into MARKS ARE WORDS then the lipstick marks are the equivalent of words. I Googled Irene Adlers lipstick and discovered it has a name so I figured I'd try that, so...

    Well I'd agree in having a village lean on Derry but the possibility it's a ballsy wolf shouldn't be discounted.
