Gotta wonder if the serial killer has invited two in to play with before killing them.

Seems odd though. Also wonder about the blackmailer. Could he be "mind controlling" one of them to say something. probably not, wouldn't seem like a great play.

Upside, Brendan, welcome to my "Leaning good" column :P

Not solidly there, of course. Could be a goody hit us with some sort of status effect.

Well tbh, my first thought was the jailer but they've been hospitalised not jailed so...

@Mods, can you open the lynch form?

I'll be away for most of the day and not returning until >8pm which will leave me very little time to catch up and make an informed voted before lynch, so putting in a placeholder just as soon as form is open.

Ok, I can't wait any longer. Am PMing the mods my vote and hope it'll be accepted. TTFN.

Orla with the incessant videos and gifs, I can see why there's suspicions. But I figure a wolf wouldn't be that brazen, would they?

Desmond, iirc, got Redbeard last night round the same time I did, and I felt that gave me a slightly good lean.

    No read on Mary currently.

A wolf can be anything. Traditionally wolves can be fearful on day 0 but it doesnt mean they are not.

Are you and Orla on the same team?
    Derry WW wrote: »
Right, I've been trying to figure out whether this is something worth saying or not, but after weighing it up, I figure I had better. I'm waiting till 9.59 rather than giving the wolves warning.

    I've been hospitalized.

This apparently is a status effect, and doesn't seem to currently do anything to me. But reading the OP, the characters who seem to relate to a hospital makes me think I'm probably marked for death. I'm going to take a guess that the SK has marked me (his character seems to be hospital based), so I wouldn't be shocked if I'm SK killed shortly. Maybe the "Boasting" is that his victim gets a little warning before hand? I was told at 8:27 so ye can work out how long the warning is.

Have you any other details you can give us about uour hospitalization? Your previous message makes sense now but why did you think others got something similar to you?

Well that was a brutal kill. I'm guessing Mary was John Watson. He was a writer as well doctor and soldier, and the kill says that all flavour is gone now.

If Derry is a villager then yes, we are on the same team.

What's it to you anyways? You drinking the Winnie kool-aid?

Cos that's been sooooo correct so far.

I was wondering if the removal of flavour was a clue itself?

Also I know she soft claimed the role but day 0 is awful awful early to go claiming such a big role in a throwaway manner...
I'm guessing they're either NRV or maybe they were SK (hence why flavour is gone? Trying to even the odds?)

    Jaesus Derry.

Between the clues answered, your hospital visit and this it’s like you are a black hole sucking in every bit of drama going on. The seer has prob peeked you, the jailer jailed you and the BG protected you....

Either way, we'll find out eventually through action (or inaction). I don't think it's worth dwelling on too much, for obvious reasons.

Watson specifically was Shelocks biographer, with him gone there is no one to tell the story hence the flavor is gone. To me at least it seems the wolfs have hit a pretty big target on day 1. Why would Mary make such an obvious statement like "But Derry says I'm not to?"

Winifred, you pushing for a group that seems to have an almost confirmed goodie in it is looking like wolfy behavior.

I'm not going to read too much into flavor.

We have a priest in play (presumably, unless Mary was Molly), and usually flavor is flavor. So I'm going to presume/hope that the mods wouldn't out Watson's death like that. For now, I think it's not worth getting caught up on either. It doesn't help the village to spend time fearing that.

Likewise, I don't know if, for now, there's much more we can do with the hospitalization thing. It sucks for me and Brendan, but for now, it's largely an unknown. The village will have more info latter.

Pardon me for being stupid about this, but it's definitely hospitalisation and not jailing, right?

I agree that would point to the SK if that's the case. The boasting thing seems to fit.

    This.
There may be no flavour in any of the killings int his game for all we know on the basis that we are supposed to be assuming the role of detectives (well except the killers). That said, there was a specific mention in the death notice that flavour died with Mary. So it's kind of hard to know. For now I will wait to see future death notices and see what story they tell.

I agree with Derry that at the moment there's no point in getting caught up whether Mary was Watson, based only on the no flavour piece.

Not when there isn't a right answer ie: a Loaded question.

Derry says no - 'oh, you're just a lying wolf.'

Derry says yes - 'see, I told you all.'

Improve the questions, I won't have an issue ;)

Keep an eye on it for now? May warrant a peek if they both live beyond today. Beyond racing them later.....but that may precipitate an unwanted role reveal.

So, in summary, i dont know what to do.

If you're asking to race Derry and Brendan, I'd be against that for now anyways. Derry's been useful and while that doesn't clear him, there's tonnes of others who haven't been I'd lynch before Derry.

    No read on Brendan though.

A peek would probably be better, but we (hopefully) won't learn about that for a few days.

It may be self resolving imo IF it's linked to the SK.

I dont mind the gifs, but they will ultimately count against you.
They arent great in terms of searchability and bump up your post count without contributing anything to the village. They are the equivalent or the smart arse in the meeting who pipes up with a witty comment while others are trying to get work done. No-one likes that guy.
