Adobe Flash Player - RTE player

I stopped using this a couple of years ago because of all the problems with it
and instead used rte xl player but now even that keeps telling me I need a new version of flash but after getting that it still doesn't work.


Did HTML not make flash obsolete are am I getting all confused oap.

Flash is obsolete. Unfortunately, RTE continue to use an obsolete technology (on XL as well).

You can get the latest Firefox version here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. Although to be honest, I wouldn't want that piece of crap installed on my main browser. I keep a secondary browser (e.g. Chrome/IE/Edge) for the rare times I actually want to run flash

I followed a link in the weather forum to the rte player then I got the message you need to update your flash, I forgot that I always use the rte player via chrome. A Senior Moment i think its called

having same problem as you danjo with Abode Flash player can watch RTE Player TV only bur RTE Radio asking to Run abode flash player but system wont proceed despite the abode window and arrows

No joy with downloading Adobe Flash Player, for Windows 10 - goes as far as download then a message pops up Firefox will not allow Adobe Flash Player?? can anyone help please? I need it to listen to playback on radio , can get live radio but not playback

RTE Radio need to sort their **** out. Pathetic that the national broadcaster can be so out of touch.

I use an Adobe Flash plugin on Firefox which can be set to Allow for individual sites.

So no problem with RTÉ radio, live or catchup from the site https://www.rte.ie/radio/
