Widespread issue with no internet access since very early Saturday 16th just outside Clarinbridge, Co. Galway.
    www.eir.ie/support/broadband/ show "Chat Unavailable"

How can we confirm if this is being worked on?

    Hi Ranleth,

There was a nationwide coverage issue over the weekend. This issue has now been resolved if you are still experiencing issues, can you turn your phone off for 5 mins and back on again, you should have your service back then.

    Thanks

    Hi Tracy,

This is a landline/broadband issue.  The phone line was physically down on the road on Saturday morning.

I've spoken to neighbours who have tried to report the issue but have spent more than two hours waiting on the Chat Support.  The Eir.ie website is also currently down.

One person who got through to support was told that no others had reported an issue....

I raised a fault using the MyEir app but I can see it says "There are no open faults for this account" and "It may take up to 24 hours for a fault to appear online."

For an issue effecting multiple customers there should be an easier way of confirming the current status.  Is there any way of verify if this is being fixed?

    Hi Ranleth,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

If the line is physically down on the road this would need to be reported to our dangerous plant team on 1850 245 424, they will be able to arrange this to be fixed for you.

To report a fault on a line this can be done through 1901, you can also log it through our website here, however, some customers have been experiencing issues accessing it the last couple of days.

    Thanks

    Tracey
