This also. Galway need to look elsewhere but going on club form Jason Flynn and Niall Burke especially stand out a mile. I go to a lot of club games and the only player this year in the first few rounds I thought was very impressive was Jamie Ryan from Loughrea. I haven't seen Evan Niland from the Bridge yet but again I hear he has been hurling well. It's hard to know where we going looking for the additional players we need.

Based on recent u21 teams, there is not many ready or good enough to go into the senior team. The best if them have been tried by MD but they haven't been up to it as yet.

Cooke is in for Danny Cummins

Well at least that adds bulk up front. No way you could play 3 sub 6ft players in that inside line.

That's slightly skewed as if fintan Burke was fit this year, he'd have walked onto the starting 15 imo.

I was surprised that fahy from ardrahan wasn't used this year. Was he injured?

Lads running off the shoulder too. Hopefully a turning point.

Pity about FOC had started very well. Difficult conditions for handling but Ian should be doing better.

Frustrating to watch how they mix the very good with the very poor. 90% of the time they put runners through the centre they score or draw a foul but then they drop back into this stupid passing across the 45 for mins at a time.

They are choking the life out of roscommon when they push up and then when the support runners come off the shoulder when attacking. Can't understand why they go back to the sitting deep defensive rubbish. Imagine how good they'd be when they have the full squad back if they played positively more frequently

Do you not think they invite trouble when they pull deep. Might not hurt them today but better teams will punish them.

Who are you replacing them with. I don't see too many standout options.

The conveyor belt might be a bit jumpy how many minors on the 17 team came from traditional football areas eg salthill and annaghdown names escapes me at the moment. But when push comes to shove football is probably more attractive.

GK selection was a major mistake anyway.

James Horan may be free in a few weeks time!

It's looking like Galway won't score again.

I know the manager will get the blame from most people but I think these players are overrated.

This second half as been pathetic.

Absolutely disgraceful 2nd half performance. Roscommon want it. Galway chickening out of challenges.

Walsh has to go. Negativity killing this team.

Why has he taken off m Daly one of the few forwards that can score.

    This Galway team is clueless.

Did everything to lose the match.

Sideways passing and back passing is horrible to watch.

So much talent, but not enough hunger and no brains at times.

I knew this was coming. He has this team on their knees confidence wise.

Of course not but it helps to have lads that can actually kick points on the field of play

    That's the way they're coached.

Wow!!! a second point in 40 minutes of football or whatever you'd call it that we're playing

Ah look, I think it is time for him to go also but I don't think these players are as good as they think they are either
