We'd have gotten an almighty beating tonight for sure.

Fair play to the minors too. Should be a great atmosphere in Croker next Sunday.

KW is lucky we are not in the super8s after the beating the rossies got :(

He can look forward to doing much the same next year.

The junior system is set up perfectly for Kerry as can be seen at club level too. Their junior side only has 8 teams they can't pick from. Galway have 18 teams they can't select from. Not an equitable system really.

Ya even the Kerry people that I got talking to said it's not the best system. But it's hard to see a way to fix it. Kerry are entitled to run their Championship as they see fit. But they are at a definite advantage. The Brosnan they had at wing back looks a top player.

Actually 20 teams Galway can't pick from as it's guys who played senior club last year.

The U-20 and minor game are on TG4 YouTube channel this weekend. I wasn't aware that TG4 has this option. Good for the games to be available.

Deferred coverage of the u20 at 7pm on TG4 itself Saturday too.

Senior hurling League final on today. Quite amazing its being played in 2019 alone, never mind July :)

Loughrea look to be serious contenders this year in champ, but nice to see Cappy there. It'd be a real shame if they fizzled out with this golden generation side, after two disappointing champ semi exits the last 2 years. Hopefully for their sake this can help them pick themselves up for champ this year, so they can go on another run

Poor scheduling by the gaa that they couldn't manage to fit the all Ireland u20 semi final schedule to show full live TV coverage. They able to show all Munster provincial hurling matches. Football and hurling should be treated in similar way

Very true about the league being finished in the calendar year. Last year's one was only finished in April of this year when pearses beat Cappy after extra time.

Maybe Cappy can make up for "last year's" loss today against loughrea.

Hard to believe only 3 weeks till champ again

Looks like it could be the most wide open championship in yonks.

Two absolutely terrible balls into the goal and they get two goals.
Once balls are floated in like that they should be backs balls.

    Look beaten already.

    Now they're motoring. Hon Galway.

Gonna have to beat the ref now too. Dub getting every soft free going. Second goal for BAC came from a lineball which we should have got.

So many poor wides or unforced errors are killing them.
Cant afford that when you gave up a 7 point head start which has nearly been restored now again.

Physically it looks like a minor team playing a senior team. Alot of poor mistakes but hard to see how they could live with them physically over 60 mins.

Dublin dominating the middle. Galway look lost out there. Hopefully a kick up the arse at half time and wake them up

Seems PJ doesn't get the modern kick out game either.

Jim Gavin must find it hilarious.
The only area of the game you could expect to replicate Dublin and yet not one manager is copying them.

Kicking it out beyond the 65 is a 50/50 kickout and should never happen.
Open space out wide and runners lead into it. Its not exactly rocket science and requires very little work.

Some very poor marking at the back for the 2 Dublin goals. Galway's shooting hasn't been great either tbh

Always difficult when it happens in such a big game. Matt Tierney has barely had a wide before this and today nothing goes right. Big ask to get into this now and Dublin have a slight breeze.

Very few playing to the potential they can. Dublin are no world beaters but it's difficult to see how to rectify it all.

The shooting has been poor and no way Archer should have got in for that second goal.

Galway are not out of this but it's been a disappointing first half performance.

Disappointing ending but fair play to PJ and the lads for a great year. Hopefully the minors go well later

F**k it anyway. Thought those lads had the winning of this but that's sport. Corner back Mahon have an excellent game. Boyle and Glynn when he came on drove us forward as best they could. Barrett did what he could around the middle. Darragh Silke got his hands on a mountain ball and used it very well. Just a pity two of the biggest players on this team had such poor outings. Tierney I doubt knew what was going wrong. For such a gifted striker off the the ground to kick two that barely left the ground shows what kind of day he had. Mulkerrins looked all at sea. Two early goals from Archer made it near impossible to win. Even after that he didn't seem to know whether to sit or meet the man running in and in the end did neither.

Special mention for McFadden. Switched onto Archer after the second goal and barely gave him a kick. Fantastic performance.

Yeah Dublin much stronger physically especially in midfield which is probably the weakest part of the Galway team. Did very well to come back level after being 7 points down but ran out of steam after that. Dublin very cute also in making tactical fouls in the middle third of the field in order to slow the Galway attack and allow them to get men behind the ball. Galway a bit more naive in allowing Dublin players run free right down the centre of the field. Some very bad wides as well.

I hope all the players are disgusted after watching that poor Kilkenny team making the final.

Shows how much of a loss 2018 was as well... Limerick are good but not the second coming.

True. Maybe Limericks much vaunted style of play isn't all it was meant to be either.
