    I love boards.

    1 badger
    2 fox

I've seen the first type before, never seen the other type.

It's always a good idea to put a coin or something beside droppings/prints etc for a size comparison.

We're both droppings in the same place?

I'll put my bets on Pine Marten with the second picture. First looks like badger.

Black and tapered, fox I reckon.

If it's urban they can be not the norm you'd expect from bin raiding.

I agree with your opinion the second "sample" is from a fox who likes his blackberries:D

    I'd go
    1 Badger
    2 Fox

Badger tends to be 'sploggy' piles (especially if the diet is high in invertabres such as worms and slugs), but usually in a 'latrine'- a dug out hole average size of a large coffee cup.
Fox scat is usually turd like with twisty ends, sometimes containing hair etc depending on diet. Not unusual to see seeds etc in there as well.

No.2 is fox poo, I'd say..
I have a nightly /early morning visitor to my garden that leaves similar evidence ;)

    Not sure about No.1
