    Celtic 0 - 3 Juve

Couple of ugly goals where the ball fell at the feet of Juve players in my box. Dybala is ridic in this game!

Aido posted this in the other thread by accident, so I'm C&Ping into here

    "West Ham 2 - 2 Real Madrid

West Ham reverted back to the 4-4-2 formation that did so well last season, hernandez and carrol leading the line.

Scrappy affair to be honest, 4 goals scored but think phil would agree that either team was truly in the game.

See you in the cup comp bud "

But for the record, no I disagree and felt that Madrid were robbed having dominated proceedings once again from start to finish! :P

… just kidding … it was coin toss game that could have gone either way, but if anything the Hammers should have taken the three points as they had the ball in the net twice in the final 15 mins only for it to be chalked off due to offside both times.

    Division A

    Athletic Bilbao (Stephen_Mc91) 3 - 4 Tottenham (az1234)

Mad, end to end game that included a howler from both goalkeepers within 30 seconds of each other! Spurs were lucky to snatch it at the death.

    Division B

    Liverpool (Colemaniser) 4-0 (kingosh)

Scorers: Salah, Van Dijk, Milner, Wijnaldum

Took a while to get going here. Salah opening the scoring in the first half and the rest of the half was pretty much a game of corners.

Liverpool peppered the Milan goal in the second half with some great saves by Donarruma but Van Dijk finally got the second goal of the game with a powerful header.

Milan went all out attack and Milner and Wijnaldum finished the scoring off late on.

    Good game osh

    Valencia 1 - 7 Liverpool

A lesson in finishing from an in form Daniel Sturridge. He may have tweaked a toe nail in the dying moments however. (4 - 6 weeks)

    Division B

    Southampton (Bijilf) 0 - 1 Napoli (Planetpotter)

A first half Milik goal was enough to win it for Napoli. Southampton never really looked like creating anything against a solid defence where Koulibaly was the best of the lot.

    Thanks for the game, Hercule/Planetpotter.

    Man United 1-2 Southampton (Bijilf)

Plenty of possession and chances for United today but no end product, fair play to Bijilf he played a great game and punsihed my bad defending with a nicely taken goal in the 90th min to seal the win.

    Good game!

    Division A

    Athletico Madrid (nslattery) 1 - 2 Tottenham (az1234)

Spurs win by the odd goal in the end of a closely contested game. Kane got 2 goals in the 1st 30 mins and it stayed that way until the 65th minute when Griezmann pulled a goal back. Ath Madrid couldn’t find the equaliser so the search continues for their next win

    Good game az1234

    Division B

    Liverpool (Colemaniser) 2-0 Lazio (meath77)

    Scorers: Sturridge, Shaqiri

Liverpool came into this game looking for revenge after the highly frustrating tie between these 2 teams earlier in the season where they had about 20 shots and left with a 0-0 draw.

There wasn't much to report from the first half with Lazio once again defending impressively.

Daniel Sturridge, starting his second game in a row, was about to be beckoned by the manager when he ran on to a lovely through ball by Salah and curled in the games opener off the post and in.

Shaqiri scrambled in a late clincher after another lovely cross field assist from Salah.

    Good game

    Lazio 0 - 1 Manchester United

Nice goal from sanchez, 25m out into the bottom corner. Both teams had chances, but it stayed 1-0. At least united lost irl earlier in the CL

    Napoli 0 - 1 Lazio

A defeat in Naples that sees any slim hopes of a Division B title dashed. The game itself was one for the purists as both sides were resolute in defence limiting both attacks to shots from outside the area. The key moment came in the 67th minute as Badelj played an extremely sexy ball from just inside the Napoli half that was misread by the usually reliable Albiol and allowed Immobile to bring the ball down in the area and slot a very composed finish past Karnezis. Napoli came back strongly and had four corners in as many minutes but it was to no avail as Lazio held on for the three points.

    gg meath, what a guy!

    Monaco 0 - 3 Roma

Monaco kept it pretty close in the 1st half containing Damo to a 1 - 0 lead at ht through Dzeko I believe, but a goal from kick off in the 2nd half signalled an onslaught from Roma for the next 45, a red card in the 60" minute for a last man slide didnt help either.
3 - 0 was flattering for Monaco here.

    GG Damo.

    Arsenal 4 Athletico Madrid 1

Arsenal off to a flyer with lacazette early on followed by 2 for Aubameyang made it 3-0 at half time.

Different game second half with Athletico putting pressure on the the arsenal back 4. Greziman scored with a delightful chip over the keeper. Cue more pressure till Aubameyang scored with the last kick of the game.

    Good game all round

A Lukaku masterclass wins it for United, with two brilliantly taken goals. Good game!

    Juventus 1 PSG 1

Decent game , cagey first half from both teams , 2nd half controversy as Cavani had what looked a perfectly legitimate goal chalked off for a foul .....In typical football fashion juventus went up the other end and scored through a cuadrado header .......PSG Began to apply pressure and veratti capitalised on a bonucci error to level.

In added time Douglas Costa went clean through and beat the keeper only for a poxy defender to be guarding the line haha ....I couldn't believe it .

    Overall a fair result

PSG (Ivefoundgod) 4-2 Athletico Madrid (nslattery)

Great game this. Athletico started brightly and put pressure on the PSG defense straight away. PSG soon settled though and it was Mbappe who game them the lead after 15 minutes. PSG took control for the rest of the half without managing to double their lead and were made to pay for their wastefulness when Athletico came storming out of the gate to begin the 2nd half, Griezmann getting a well deserved equalizer after an hour.

The game really opened up then and it was end to end, an unlucky deflection from a cross saw Diego Godin (I think) put it into his own net to give PSG the lead. Madrid again piled on the pressure until Diego Costa tapped home from close range with 10 minutes to go. It was anyone’s game at that stage with both teams going for the win but it was Cavani who took down a cross into the box before neatly finishing past Oblak with just 5 minutes to go. Athletico threw everything at PSG in the final minutes but were undone by a swift PSG counter that saw Neymar draw Oblak out of his goal before sliding the ball to Cavani who slotted home.

A really good game that could have went either way, well played mate!

    Division B

    (Damok21) Roma 2 - 1 Manchester United (itshoggie)

Great game this, United were dominating possession throughout but it was Roma who took the lead after a mistake in the United backline, Roma would double the lead soon after with a goal from a corner. United had lots of possession after that and created a few chances but couldn't pull one back before half time.

Second half Roma began brightly and had a chance to put the game to bed but missed. United would go on to dominate the rest of the game and Lukaku would finally find the net with about 10 minutes left cue a United onslaught and Rashford would find himself one on one with the Roma keeper but Olsen made a great save to deny a last minute equaliser, draw would have been well deserved.

    Good game man well played.

    Rangers 0 - 4 Atletico Madriid

Rangers went into this home tie with Atletico hoping that they could catch their visitors cold and come away with at least a point. The match started relatively evenly, with both sides enjoying decent spells of possession. However, just ten minutes in, Rangers were the victim of yet another horrendous refereeing decision. After good play by Madrid at the edge of the Rangers box, the ball fell to Antoine Griezmann who's powerful shot narrowly missed the top corner of Allan McGregor's goal. Then, just as the players were retreating back to the centre of the pitch in anticipation of a goal kick, the referee decided to award a free to Atletico, about 25 yards out, much to the disbelief of the Rangers players and manager.

What happens next will shock you....!

Furious at this decision, Wilberto, just like in a previous match, sprinted towards the referee, but this time pulled out a Glock 19 9mm, held it to the forehead of the referee, and threatened to pull the trigger if he did not immediately reverse the decision. Wilberto was eventually brought under control thanks to the swift actions of several police officers, and escorted of the stadium in handcuffs. He is now spending the night in custody, waiting to be charged.

The rest of the match was played in a very subdued fashion, after the surreal events that went beforehand. Diego Costa eventually went onto score a hattrick against a Rangers side still in shock after seeing their normally timid and meek gaffer lose it on the sideline for the second time this season.

It is not yet known what repercussions either Wilberto or the club will face, but Wilberto could be facing a lengthy stadium ban considering he was let off with a 'slap on the wrist' after the last outburst against Chelsea. He (and possibly Rangers) may even face expulsion from the league as he (and they) are clearly testing the FA Disciplinary Committee's patience.

    Division B

    Real Madrid
    (philamental) 6 - 1 Valencia (Batesy2007)

Two struggling sides met at the Bernabeu with 8th placed Valencia travelling to 9th placed Real. Unfortunately for the visitors, this was the night when everything clicked for the home side.

Real started with purpose and led by two goals after only 18 minutes with first Ascencio, and then Isco hitting the back of the net for a deserved lead. However Valencia steadied themselves and started creating a number of chances as the play became more even, and when a decent shot was only parried by Courtois, the hapless Carvalho could do little but watch as it rebounded off him into the net to make it 2-1. With Valencia right back in the game, the next goal was crucial and it was Vazquez who snatched it just before half time to restore the two goal lead at 3-1.

With no choice but to chase the game, Valencia became more desperate in their play and this played into the hands of Real who extended their lead further when Ascencio netted his second on 50 mins. There was only going to be one winner after that and Real hit the woodwork twice from set pieces before Ramos converted from the spot late on. There was still time for Benzema to cross for Odriozola to head home deep in injury time for a final emphatic scoreline of 6-1 to the home side, who leap frog their opponents in the table.

(Kingosh) Milan 1-3 Real Madrid (philamental)

Even enough first half with not a lot of clear cut chances. Real took the lead on 38 and I equalised a few mins later. Second half I started playing better and had a few chances but couldn’t put any away. Then with about 15 mins left bale got by some defenders to create the second for Real. I pushed up a bit more to grab an equaliser and conceded a third in injury time. GG phil

    Division B

    Liverpool (Colemaniser) 2-1 (Damok21) Roma

Another tough game with damo here with all goals in the first half.

Wijnaldum opened the scoring after a defensive mistake with Perotti equalising not long after.

Firmino scored what proved to be the winner on the stroke of half time after a nice passing move.

Both teams had chances in the second half but the game ended 2-1.

    Good game Damo

    Napoli 1 - 3 AC Milan

The first half was fairly dull to be honest, very few chances at either end.

Second half started well for AC as they took the lead only for Napoli to equalise shortly after. Then came the rain, Milan took control and scored twice in quick succession. Napoli did create some chances but they were poorly taken and Milan got a deserved victory.

Normally I note the scorers and minutes and all that jazz - but I was so peed off with how I played I exited immediately and forgot to note who did what and when.

    gg Osh, a deserved winner

    Division A

Barcelona (Niallym) 1-2 Athletic Bilbao (Stephen_Mc91)

An even and open first half saw chances for both sides, but 0-0 was the score at half time.
Bilbao went one up on 51 minutes when Inigo Cordoba struck from just inside the box. Athletic were slightly on top and went 2 up after 77 minutes when Inaki Williams tapped into an open goal after a pass to him cut out the Barca defence. Suarez scored a consolation goal with the last kick of the game. Deserved 3 points for Bilbao, just about shaded it. Well played Stephen!

    Scorers:
    Barca - Suarez
Bilbao - Inigo Cordoba, Inaki Williams
