I feicking hate bullies. And I really hate the teachers and other adults who refuse to see the bullying for what it is. Often the bully is pretty, popular (cos they rule the roost) and the person they are bullying loooks weak n weird and people can’t see the bully fir what it is.

It's odd how Limbo means the middle bit between Heaven and Hell, and also a fun Caribbean dance where you bend your back to funky music while moving under a pole.

One sounds like good craic, the other not so much.

Exactly. And teachers can't be arsed or spare time to intervene.

People really get attached to their pets, it's not far off an actual death in the family when one passes away.

People say "I'm in limbo", as if it just means they don't know what's next. Like, as if it isn't between the best thing ever and actual hell.

They're always there and sympathetic when you have a bad day :)

And your dog or cat is always the best in the world :)

No, if you have any knowledge of rural Ireland you'll know the 'county colours' brigade have voted Cumann na nGaedhael, FG, since the state was founded. It's a status thing, pre recession etc they wouldn't touch FF with a barge pole. And yes they are descendants of large farmers, acreage that is!

Familar enough with where I grew up and live thanks. If you have knowledge of maths you ll know there are more small part time farmers descended from small farmers, than those descended from the large (er evil) famine era farmers, so the idea that the latter is the dominant rural electorate is bizarre. But if it fits the stereotypical view of FGs support you wish to convey, keep sharing it. Im glad like many Irish not to be a staunch supporter of any political party, but FF for obvious reasons will have to wait a while longer before I or and many others can stomach to vote for them.

I had a calf I raised by hand. His mam died when he was 2 days old. Followed me everywhere. Loved having his photo taken with family members (human). He was nervous in a field with new cattle and stayed beside me rubbing his head of my leg for 2 hrs. My brother sold him when I was away :( Jimmy 2007-? RIP.

    2 hours later .

Suffice to reply that in sections of counties we have a lot of old Blueshirts landed farmers who are Fine Gael core. I never suggested they are the majority of FG supporters today. They are dominant where I am. I won't be online at 3am to reply.

Between ourselves, here's the thread that got PlentyOhToole into trouble, he reported a post using colourful language claiming the OP didn't really know what he was claiming to be (as other people pointed out on that thread)

The Late Late Show couldn't be arsed playing a full clip of The Cranberries playing on the show years ago as a tribute to Dolores.

They showed about 30 seconds, which was an insult.
