Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

LTD Company UK to LTD Company Ireland

I am going to talk to my accountant about this at some stage but just wanted to through this on here.

So I currently run a LTD company in the UK, I usually work between London and Belfast.

Essentially I am an independent contractor for trading firms and banks.

Anyways - I have been offered a new contract in Dublin with one of the larger American banks.

In terms of the move, I would effectively have to cease trading the LTD company in the UK as I would not longer be working or living in the UK.
And start a new LTD company or as a sole trader in the State.

Is there anything I need to be aware of in making this move in terms of taxation?

When I create a LTD in the state will it be seen as a new business?
