Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A small apple pie and bainne for breakfast. Mid morning snack of a wispa and lucozade zero in Belfast. A Supermacs at Mayfield services on the way home. Not finished yet as I reckon a chinese takeaway is in order later.:D

    You're a busy man.
I had the leftovers from last night. Might have something later. Cup of tea now to get me going.

I jumped on the white pudding bandwagon too! I usually go for black but white is lovely.

They say if you have more food than you can carry, you have too much and i will admit i couldn't carry all my plates or fit all the food into my picture but boy was I satisfied:)

Looks delicious PorkLife :) I’d have to have the beans over the waffles :D Not a fan of white pudding here or sausages

Deciding what to have for dinner now and I’m starving :)

That looks great! I like the square waffle things.

A big bowl of cereal. Big giant bowl, 20% filled with rice crispies, then a layer of dried fruit (raisins and their ilk), then fill up with more crispies and a bit of sugar on top. With a pint of creamy protein milk poured over.

Rice crispies also don't float when you weigh them down with additions, so you can get more in the bowl. Bit of a Marjorie Dawes statement but there you go.

    Last nights fokd
Picked up an OEP burrito set, cooked them with lamb mince, put in extra kidney beans and sweetcorn, a side of jalapeno guacamole, spinach and lime wedges, wrapped them all up and let them chill for a couple of hours in the fridge, toasted the burrito in the panini maker... Absolutely delish
As i am cooking for one there is some in the fridge for another day..

    Todays food:
Natural yoghurt and berries/honey for breakfast
And followed by a chicken wrap later for dinner

Picked up a new frozen product in Lidl 'lemon sole gougons'.. Looking forward to trying them, most likely paired with side of greens but looking forward to trying them

Me and Mrs G were very very bold today and I was even bolder considering yesterday. Had a double whopper with cheese and fries at a picnic bench outside our local BK. The fact that it was empty made me feel even more guilty.:D

I ended up having fresh pasta but there was ricotta in it which I hate. I was like ah be grand but no. It is terrible and I don't like the texture.
I will know better in future.

A decent oul day of gardening and a trip to the car wash. Early breakie of sausages, fried egg and toast. A few sausage rolls at the car wash. (the curse of a deli.:D) A chicken and bacon sandwich with smokey bacon crisps for lunch. Made Ms G a roast chicken sandwich and chips for dinner, Mrs G had a locally made lasagne, potato salad and chips. I'm happy out with a beer. Onions and mushrooms fried up. Gonna enjoy them with a striploin and chips later. Maybe some pepper sauce if the mood fits.

Absolutely need a hike in the mountains this weekend to walk it all off. Slieve Bloom here I come. Havent been up there since last year.

A few chips, a cold platter and the piéce de résistance was a couple of fresh crusty buns from Lidl.

I forgot about the cold platter with hot chips. Putting it on my list! I have a striploin left over in the fridge from last nights twin pack. Took a ciabatta out of the freezer an hour ago and just chopped mushrooms and onions so we know where this is going. Opening a beer out the back and taking pleasure in how the garden is starting to look.

I'm a fancy nancy today. I had goats cheese bruschetta's with red onion marmalade. Quite heavy food though.
Cooked btw so the cheese melts.

Anyone who wants a curry in a hurry (!) The veg curry from Balti House is unreal. I picked one up tonight. I know it's not cooking but anyway. Irish made as well with decent ingredients. Dunnes sell them.

Is there a meat version S?

Yes they do Jalfrezi I think as well, chicken. I tried all of them and the veg is the tastiest. In saying that the meat one isn't bad. It is miles better than the Bombay Pantry we were talking about.

Yep it reads good. Anything can read good. But a photo, now and again, can help in support of the read. Hope you find what you need Fathom.:)

Sinking a beer and heating the pan.:D

Website posted above. I think Lidl used sell them as well? I def remember buying one or two there but Dunnes do sell them. Don't be fooled by the Veg one, it is bursting with flavour and I usually pick meat myself as well.

All I saw was the Veg, Jalfrezi, Biryani (which is good). I would think it depends on the store but you are pretty likely to find those ones and might get lucky with the others.

It looks like Tesco has them too? Lidl must have been doing a special at the time.

Lamb burger on a brioche bun with some rustic chips from a local food van. It was very nice to eat it in the open on a sunny day. The food was nice but the environment enhanced it.
