Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Polished concrete - new house

So we're buying a new house at the moment & flooring isn't included. Floors will be concrete. I'm wondering is it possible to polish this concrete or do we have to get new concrete poured? I've seen PMacs reccommended & will contact them but just looking for some basic info before I start. It's a pretty big kitchen/diner so I'm wondering if it's in any way affordable or would it be mad money? I thought I could just get some sort of resin but I think it's a bigger job then that!

    Thanks for any info.

Fairly sure you can grind the floor to get the finish you want. Just hire the grinder, you would do it in a day easy.

Not in a house, ive done on a massive concrete slab that we had to grind with a orbital grinder and then sealed the concrete. Looked great tbh
