Best (at price UHD/4k) Graphics card

So I built a media pc about 6 years ago. Horribly over specced it on most things except graphics.

Its an i5 2500k and a P8P67 motherboard.

Its only used as a a HTPC so no gaming etc. But would be nice to get a better graphics card for 4k video

Any ideas?

A GT 1030, can be got passively cooled too if you value silence. At around €80-90

No argument here. The 1030 or an older second hand card would fit the bill grand.

1030 has HDMI 2.0b, older cards probably don't have this which means you won't have HDR 10 bit playback.

Good catch, they threw out a few sneaky ddr4 models too so worth keeping an aye out for. Also, reviews are saying that the passively cool d models are just as good at cooling and at times better so keep that in mind.
