    Hi

hoping for a bit of advice from someone who may have set up a website!

I've a domain I bought ages ago but never done anything with. It's a review type domain and the plan was to post reviews of products along with links to Amazon or somewhere similar.

What's the best way to set this up? Is there a WordPress plug-in that'd do the job or should I be looking at something a bit more specialised? I can muddle my way through the basic WordPress stuff and have time on my hands to learn something a bit more technical if need be. As the products aren't too expensive (50e-150e) and are generally a once off purchase I doubt I'll make a fortune from it but I'm interested to learn how it works

    Cheers!
    Rex

There is a plugin that will link your WooCommerce shop (WordPress) to an Amazon Affiliate account directly. Basically, you can import the products to WooCommerce but when you go to checkout, it brings you to Amazon.

Being frank though, the domain and technical side are about 10% of the business. You need a niche and you need to market the hell out of it. Every person and their dog are drop selling on Amazon at the moment, and you'll always be against the race to the bottom from other cost centres. Personally, if this is a side hobby or learning exercise, I'd take the time to learn the market and research your products. You can do very well, but its only with careful planning and execution.

Likewise, set an amount you are willing to invest and go no further. Many people make great sales but they simply don't have the volume to make it pay. Lastly, be wary of any course or similar that promises to teach you a 6-figure amazon business. They are all BS, you are simply the product and the revenue the course maker generates from the course vastly exceeds any income from Amazon. Its like MLM, the first people in are doing well, the bandwagon, however, is heavily loaded.
