It's years since we had one of these so time for a bit of fun.

Here are 10 images of British Post boxes in North County Dublin- (4 x Queen Victoria and 6 King Edward VII.

Lets see who is observant when riding the highways and byways of the North County.

These are all on popular cycling routes so can you pinpoint where they are?

.....and what about the Kardan? :pac:

PS - for any history buffs out there number 6. has the letters 'SE' (Saorstat Eireann) crudely added at the bottom of the box (after independence). Difficult to see in the pic.

I should have also said that the bus stop sign should narrow it down - Dublin Bus doesn't serve Naul village. ;)

No. 4 was the first to be guessed - see second post. It's at Springhill at the junction of the R122 and R130 - the right turn for Garristown after you come over the 3 sisters/Nags Head.

 It was there a couple of weeks ago.

(Incidently, the Victorian one on the wall opposite the old end of Turvey Avenue (on the R132) was removed or stolen a few months ago. :()

    Donal,

Don't think you would have spotted many on yesterday's spin , lovely idea for a rambling spin though. My problem is trying to upload photos, it's so easy on Strava !
Nice to talk to you again yesterday.

Great idea for a thread WA! Tried adding a picture last night but flash and phone died after the miserable shot below. Bonus points if you can figure this one out from the blur.
