Well, for Ray Darcy its about her. Most discussion about it has been about her story but more broadly about the system that ends up in this kind of situation...whereby a simple error in adding up scores has to go to the High Court and where the student is told to wait to start until the following year

Even so. Error in adding marks for leaving cert student. It's not cancer. Errors happen. Too much made of it.

Your missing the point. The error should be addressed and remedied earlier and the student not be expected to hang around for a year.

Though minor laughs for someone correcting a maths exam and not adding up the marks correctly.

That's the error I'm talking about. You're missing the point. It's life, bottom of news story on tv day 1. Not national news for a week.
