Chinese smartphones

spotted .a number of chinese made smartphones which seemed to be very good value. brands were Xiaomi,Ulefone and ASUS. Does anybody have any experience of them?? Value for money or conjob? also do these phones come unlocked?? Saw them om Toptom.com I'd appreciate any advice..
