    Hi richersounds,

I am looking to buy a new TV for parents. We are looking for 60" to 65" 4K HDR screen that has satellite and soarview tuner with both turners in the same channel list and maybe the possibility to record to external media, Android OS also would be nice. Brand I would prefer is Philips but LG and Samsung I would consider. Budget is 1000e but if there is something more expensive it would be considerable.

    Thanks

    Hi steve,

apologies for the delay getting back to you and thanks for the post :)

I think that the only TV that will match your request is a Sony - these would start with the KD65XF8505 which has an Android OS

The KD65XF8505 is currently £1349 / €1629 so unfortunately this does break your budget but I cannot think of another 65" that we stock at the moment that ticks all the required boxes under €1000 at the mo..

Apologies again for the delay and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    Hi Stevek93,

Thank you for your post and apologies for the delay getting back to you.

It would be difficult to get all of these things together as only the Sonys would have Android built in but they would not be able to tune both Freeview and Freesat at the same time.

I would recommend something like the LG 65uk6750, a little over budget at £999. It has both Freesat HD and Freeview HD tuners however it would need to be returned for whichever you're using. It doesn't have Android howevber it has a very good, user friendly smart system and the panel is a great 4K panel:

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards
