METER READER CALLED BUT IM WITH ENERGIA - HELP??

    A note was put through my door along the lines " soory we missed you ..." and then asks for me to input my meter reading online but is this required when I am not an electirc ireland csutomer???

    It was probably from ESB Networks, they read the meters for all suppliers. Get the reading and text the number with your MPRN 

    you won't get an estimated bill!

    Don't worry. He was with ESB Networks. They own the network and meters.

    The other posters on this thread are correct. 

    ESB Networks maintain the electricity network for all electricity suppliers, including Electric Ireland and Energia. As part of this, they regularly read the meter.
