Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Samsung T5 500GB external drive. USB-C and probably one of the most recommended external drives to use with Mac's due to speed. I'm sure it's good for Windows too.

Price dropped overnight from £142 to £110 on Amazon UK. Lowest its ever been according to CCC.

    Bought one myself.

Any reason for not getting a separate drive and enclosure to save nearly 40yoyos ?

Not knocking the BA by the way :)

I would expect the case to be more robust in this, and I would also expect the controller to be better than the cheaper enclosures, which should improve read and write speeds. That's really it as far as I know at least.

Generally it's faster smaller and cheaper.

    What combo saves 40?

I've been using this exact model as a backup device for the past month and cant fault it. Fast , silent and ultra tiny. :)

Must be popular. Its now the best seller in external solid state drives on Amazon UK.

The 256GB is also the lowest price it’s ever been. Been looking to buy one of these so just picked it up. Thanks OP.

Yeah just grabbed the 256 myself too. Doesn't seem to be on offer but it's a good price for a well rated drive.

It was £100 last time I checked so picking it up at around £75 is a nice 25% saving.
