I think the bookies are placing too much emphasis on his age and his draw with Jack..

The Ukraine boxer has fought nobody really...

Stevenson will not be beaten easily...

Saw bits of bobs on the Ukraine lad....he’s technically good.

Not particularly fast, and was buzzed couple times by lesser punchers than Adonis..

I think Stevenson gets to him, hurts him and knocks him out..unless he has aged overnight.

Hope so...he's the first part of my accum tonight!

Ive struggled to pick a winner in this one with so many what ifs. Ive put my money on wilder by ko tko or disqualification only because i find it hard to see wilder winning on points and i just have too much of a question mark over tyson, his new trainer decision leaves me wondering is he really making the best decisions for himself. Im just not convinced by it all but tyson at his best easily has enough to get a boring frustrating decision. Its a fascinating clash on paper.

The Ukrainian is clearly winning so far, Stevenson needs a knockout.

Love fury's honesty. To come back from the abyss he's already won. From a fellow bi polar sufferer i know where he's been. To even get well and be alive is winning. Love to see him win but its just great to see him well again. His talking about it can help people who are in the same boat.

Stevenson almost dropped him in the 10th round! Gvozdyk did very well to recover from it, and finished with a flurry of his own.

Yes. A very good fight. Although you could argue Stevensons age was a factor in the end. He was very tired going into the 11th. The Ukrainian had superb conditioning throughout.

The Stevenson of a few years ago would have taken Gvosdyk out of it. Although Superman's straight left looks as sharp as ever his legs were heavy & a bit ploddy.

    Joyce like a terminator...

    No D whatsoever!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,919 ✭✭✭simongurnick

Yeah. Though adonis had him in the 10th...ropes saved the Ukrainian. But he held on well and came back with a great finish. At 41 might be time for adonis to hang up the gloves. He's had a decent career while hardly leaving montreal

Hopefully the rest of the fights before the main event are as quick as the first one. It was an easy win for Joyce.
    Who should he face next?
