I would consider jags a top 5. This is a defence that makes bortles not look incompotent

Top scoring offense against the stingiest defense? You'd have to watch that!

Chiefs are scoring 36 points per game, the Jags giving up 14. Should be interesting.

Atlanta/Pittsburgh could be good too, whoever loses is pretty much done.

Not saying that the Jags aren't good - but Mahomes had a tough time in Denver on Monday. I was impressed with him (and that sucks because he could make the Chiefs dominant in the AFC West for a long time)

Nice bit of old school weather in Kansas City.

Jags should run all over the Chiefs today. DEnver showed how it can be done, but they inexplicably gave up on the run last week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Could be a long day for that Atlanta D. Steelers bowled dowen the field and had their way with them on that first drive. Hard to beleive Atlanta could go 1-4 if they lose this game despite putting up points every week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

pathethic from DEnver, 7-0 up with the ball on the Jets 40....go backwards, get back to the 43.....punt it 20 yards to the Jets 23 and let Crowell run untouched for 77 yards on the very next play.

    Talk about a momentum change.

It was the longest Jet rushing TD in over 20 years!!

Looking at how easy it was, it's a good bet they might get another. DEnver's rush D has been abysmal.

Talking about abysmal, the Oline is doing it's part in this game too.

Kenny Golladay is so under-rated. Been outstanding this season for Detroit

    Jaysus Denver. Awful D

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Easy pitch and catch for the Jets....76 yard TD to go along with their 77 yard run. Receiver just ran straight past Roby. This team is bad on both sides of the ball. Making the Jets look like the greatest show on turf.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,638 ✭✭✭phatkev

Robby beats Roby for the long TD

The Giants are such a s**tshow
    ....Denver Broncos....hold my beer.

Thats pretty much Andersons game, he's pure speed

and making the Jets D look like the 85 Bears. 3 sacks off 13 pass attempts

Lions secondary is playing an exceptional game so far. If there was a guy even slightly open Rodgers would find him. He has all day to throw but there's nobody open.

Crosby missed his 2nd FG now.

Can't count them out even at 17-0 but this would be a big win for the Bears.

TJ Watt reminds me of someone....

It is brutal by Denver - again they don't look prepared.

This could be the game that costs Joseph his job.

Patrick Mahomes throws his first pick of the season.

I can't see Elway terminating Joeseph for anything other than some misconduct. Who could you promote off the staff, i don't rate Woods or Musgrave.

If they drop to 2-4 I honestly wouldn't mind seeing what Chad Kelly has to offer. Keenum looks like a decent backup at best.

    Trickery from the Giants.

GB going to be looking for a new kicker. 3 missed FG now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Wow. All going wrong for the Packers today. 9 points off the board from missed kicks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Holy crap Crosby. That's 9 points he's lost for the Pack. Should be a 1 score game and it's a 3 score game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,297 ✭✭✭coco0981

Crosby is normally fairly reliable, he's got the Yips now

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

The Jets may never pass the ball again. Chewing up yards on the ground. 145 yards on 16 carries in the 1st half.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,156 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

    OBJ throwing better than Eli.

    Hardly a hot take really.

Joseph is already a dead man walking - and I suspect Kubiak would step in until the end of the season.

Keenum - on the other hand - will start, at least until after the Broncis are out of the play-off race.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Thats' twice the Broncos had the runner dead to rights behind the line on 3rd and 1 and both times they blow the tackle. Hell the second one was a QB sneak that ended up picking up 4 yards...i don't even know how that happens.

12 men on the field for Denver.....why not?

I wonder how this weeks practice went? I'd heard it was solid!

I hope you are right. Great to see Kubiak back. Even temporarily..

TD Jets. Roby again. Coverage was decent I suppose.

The browns block the ravens field goal.

Our TD was Keenum's first TD pass since week one.

    That's not sustainable.

His game management as discussed already is terrible. Couple that with VJ's craptacular play calling.

I'd rather not waste the rest of the regular season and just see what Kelly can do. We can see he's class. Let's have at it.

    I'm with MHG on this.

Let's just remind ourselves that we're playing the Jets tonight.

    ---

In other news, I'm watching Steelers-Falcons in a bar in Bratislava with a Canadian Pittsburgh fan . It's quite something.

Ben though, that INT was pathetic

Bortles. The Jags D must hate him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Aaron Rodgers doing his best Case Keenum impression with another fumble. At least he's Aaron Rodgers and could go off in the 2nd half.

Whatever drugs they gave Rodgers at HT in week 1 need to be used again.

Last years even when they got to the playoffs the bigggest concern was bortles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,297 ✭✭✭coco0981

Lions half time team talk should just be the video of 2nd half in Bears-Packers game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

24 nothing to the Lions over the packers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

You can't be hitting the linemen in the helmet when you haven't been hit as a staring QB in the NFL. Shocking stuff from bortles.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Bearing in mind that all around the league QB's are putting up historically good numbers - average QB's are on pace for 4500 yards, and that the Denver receivers seem like a talented bunch, i don't understand how the passing attack can be so anaemic. We have 4 passing TDs and 6 ints on the year.
