I didn't hear it myself, but I'm told that Will and Christy Ah No were on Ray Darcy programme on radio today. Apparently another RTE backslapping each other type of thing, talking about the "hard-hitting" drama dealing with domestic abuse.

(Don't know if the abusers ex was mentioned living with them :rolleyes:)

I used to love following this forum . as an anonymous non contributor..this forum used to be fun.
No wonder half the regular contributors to the Fair City forum have left...the fun and discussion is gone , this has turned into a Fair City bashing page about the characters instead of a discussion about the soap..

I’m sorry but RTÉ has a part to play in this forum being a bitch fest. Fair City used to be a great drama/soap. The death nail was when that guy from Home and Away was hired as a director

If there was decent story lines and not the likes of Airhead been unveilevably dumb and the worst actor of all time in Fair city Bosco then there would be more interesting discussion.

The discussion is very good at times but with storylines been dragged on and on with characters not catching onto things obviously your going to start critcizing the character.

What do you expect us to say about Mairead, she's a lovely intelligent person and doesn't treat Damien like crap?

When the writing improves so will the discussion.

Sure didn’t Will try to insist yesterday that Damien had to get out of his own house to let Mairead pick up her boxes? In reality that would just not happen.
There are some good actors on FC but the writers are letting them down.
They’re determined to get another fortnight out of this same sex domestic violence storyline. There are 4 characters involved and they’ve had to paint 3 of them as brain dead morons and the 4th a criminal mastermind in order to drag it out for so long. Loads of viewers have lost interest and tuned out. What’s the deal?

Its hard to believe that Deegan was taken in by your man's story. I was half expecting him to say in only the way Deegan can.. "Are we talking about the same Cristiano here?"


Wednesday episode was the ****ing cringiest ever! Will grinning and wailing to Airhead and she taking it hook line and sinker :rolleyes:

As for `Cristiano ...don't get me started.

I hope the new owner of McCoys adds a bit of gritty drama to the show..badly needed.

I do not know why Mairead was present for Will giving Deegan his statement, she is his ex who he cheated on with Cris so she will be bias and he did not need an appropriate adult :mad: I hope she is also done for lying
