I'd be suspicious of a bad dose of Covid 19 having been spread between the script writers after watching the last few episodes. The infections must have been at their maximum during the scene where Damo and his ex were bizarrely dressed up in some odd costumes while dancing like Oliver Bond ravers in broad daylight through the Carrigstown streets. It's the only excuse for such braindead gibberish. Thst Covid is one hell of a virus.

Good to see Damo finally catch a break in life and go from being severely depressed and angry, almost overnight, to becoming the residant chirpy, face pulling, wise cracking, John Travolta-esque dancing, Italian speaking, ripped stud muffin. It's amazing what a good sleep can do for someone.
