I agree with the sentiments entirely, but I'm sorry - I just cannot take a complaint about driving seriously from someone who admits he can't drive.

And I respect your decision on that. My TA however was based on parking not driving. Yes, I don't drive but as a passenger at the time, it not good to have to go onto the other side of the road.

If people are bothered it is on them.

Social conventions are there to be broken.

There's a certain type of rural person usually middle aged, man or woman that plays this routine of I'm a simpleton I've no idea what I'm doing as they amble up to the counter with their bag of current buns and 2ltr milk, walking towards the counter at such an angle that they can clearly see there's a queue but sneakily avoid making eye contact with anyone in it. You just saved yourself a whole two minutes​ by being a disrespectful dickhead. Well done. Same ones are probably perched front row at mass every week.
