So the time has come to consider replacing my Pioneer KRP-500 Kuro and AV setup

I remember originally needing the component inputs back in the day but that is no longer a requirement so perhaps a lower level AV amp would suffice?

55" would be large enough for the room also.

What would you guys recommend that would be under 2.5k

    Hi thanks for the post

For the TV I would recommend something like the LG OLED55b8 https://www.richersounds.ie/p-203506-402958.aspx.  This is one of LG's latest OLED tv and the picture is truly outstanding

For the AV amp the Denon AVRX2400 https://www.richersounds.ie/p-13044-319314.aspx . This represents excellent value for money, altough as it has just been superseded by the avrx2500 stocks are starting to get limited .

You didn't directly mention it but I assume you are planning on upgrading your speakers.  For these the Monitor Audio mass 5.1 would be my choice https://www.richersounds.ie/p-200190-mass-51.aspx

    Regards Stephen

    Hi Stephen,

I've just been told that I may as well go for the 65" version, do you have the B8 in that size? (good wife haha) I did try ringing the store but you are obviously busy today as to be expected.

speaker wise I have the Q-acoustics 2000 series with the 2050 floorstanders so I'm good for them thanks

    regards
    Andy

    Hi Andy.

I have had a look at the prices and unfortunately I just don't have the margin to do anything on the pricing.  Naturally I will deliver everything free of charge and you will get the six year warranty on the tv

    Regards Stephen
