Do products go off? 2 year old gift set?

Some of the stuff I use is definitely a year old, but I'm after finding a boots gift set that's at least 2 years old (body wash, moisturiser and soap) but never opened. Would it be safe to use now?

As they're unopened, I'd say 100% safe.
If the moisturiser is one with SPF I'd be backing it up with a separate SPF just in case, as they're supposed to become less effective over time.
My rule of thumb with lotions and potions is if it smells ok and hasn't begun to separate, it's good to use!

Didn't want to if it'd be dodgy!
