To be fair, if they're in a protected spot, they might not notice too much of it.

Anyway, things just got real here in Ballincollig. Sustained strong winds now, the bunting and flags on the Main Street are holding on for dar life in some of those gusts. Rain is coming down now as well. Wouldn't want to be outside now.

    not the bunting!!!!

Getting rough-ish here, halfway along Kenmare bay been building up the last half hour or so.

Stronger more sustained gusts now, dread to think how much seaweed will be in the garden by morning!

Wind and rain has really picked up here, just out side cork city

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,700 ✭✭✭Mountainsandh

Sustained wind here in Waterford too, it's not as gusty as other storms, just a strong ebb and flow, like an angry sea sound (I'm up at the foot of a mountain though :)). No rain yet.

(this morning early the rain was nice and heavy and gusty !)

It's not named and will move west and die out, nothing to see here.

What's the possible subsequent weather event I've seen mentioned in some news outlet ? (for Waterford anyway I think)
