Mensur's World Championship record is very poor, of course I picked him in the fantasy league thinking this was the year he'd turn it around!

O'Connor and Searle will both fancy their chances you'd imagine. Be great to see O'Connor win.

That 4th quarter is very weak.

I'd say the promoters are disgusted with the amount of big names going out early. Doesn't do a whole lot for the marquee.

Really going to make the league selection interesting but we all knw the usual names will get it

I don’t agree with his way.

62 left you have to go treble 12 to leave yourself a dart at the bull.

62 is a common number for myself for some reason. Always went for double 11, for tops :pac:

Was probably something to do with going for the easy count option and my penchant for double top

With 2 darts In hand of course you go 12s, treble for d13 but surley everyone goes the 10s route with 3 in hand?

3 darts im T14 first; single leaves me 48.

2 darts straight at the S12.

Mind you im not a back to back double World Champion and didn't see the match.

Same as that ... but I'm not a World Champion either :pac:

Who other than price might come through? White seems to be the only other one still standing who had been talked about before the tournament

Not sure I'd agree with that. A lot of big hitters in the top half of the draw to keep the *must see 180's* crew happy and the bottom half - as weak as it might seem at first glance - has the reigning world champ in one quarter and this year's Grand Slam winner in the other. It's almost a mini-tourney in itself. With Cross and Price being very beatable I think everyone in that half of the draw will be thinking .. "hold on, I can do this!". Third round onwards could see some cracking matches IMO

as i said a few weeks ago and nobody agreed
getting a warm up match has now gave lads a huge advantage when playing the bigger players in round 2
this is why your see more shocks imo

Just wondering if you need a specific bigger than 20, do darters prefer a treble to a double? Lewis needed 30 a minute ago and went treble 10

Malicdem just did the same thing there

Only time you would usually see a player hit a double to get to a double would be with 80 left.

D18 or two singles for tops seems to be getting popular latley too.
