Hats off to Dobey, super performance. Anderson just doing enough again, going from rubbish to excellent throughout his games.

What an great match, brilliant stuff.

Missing the big 10 will really play on Dobey's mind. I can't understand going for the bull on 92. None of the top players go for bull. You have to back yourself to hit the treble.

I think he was just feeling the pressure a bit but didn't miscount.
He went for the bull as even if he got the outer bull, he would only need a single 17 to have a shot at the bull.

Stunning match.

Dobey played amazing. Didn’t think he could keep that up for 7 sets.
Lack of big match experience cost him a bit in the end but he has a great temperament and has a big future.

Anderson is so clutch under presssure. Best in the world when his back is against the wall.

When you step back from it all and take a look, the amount of great young players coming through is phenomenal.

Great game of darts. Match of the tournament so far. Dobey showed he has the bottle as well as the talent. He's going to be some player.

What I liked most about that game was just two great players playing serious darts. Mutual respect, no breast-beating, no fist-pumping, no scowling at the mob. Hard, powerful darts. Someone had to lose, and Dobey can be hugely proud.

I’m a massive Anderson fan but I’d be worried by MvG. He won’t get away with giving away a 2 set lead or relying on him to miss a big 10.
He’s well capable but unfortunately don’t see him getting through on this form.
