Baffled how Cross was so unbelievable last years Worlds.

    Was average all year since.

And has somehow turned back on the turbo again here.

    Ally Pally just suit him

5 set darts missed is unforgivable.

Cross going 3 double 1 is so weird.

    Yeah for sure.

Adrian Lewis and Barney are the same.
Some players save their best for here.

Gary Anderson done absolutely nothing besides win two worlds a few years ago.

Your boy Adrian Lewis wasn't close to winning anything in 20111/12 but won two worlds. Big game players an set play suit them I suppose.

Ando has a decent amount of big ones now though.

Lewis is definitely one who saves his best for the Worlds.

Told ye lads, Humphries can shock a few here. He’s a quality player aside from the fact that Cross has lost his bottle.

Think he wins it 4-2 from here.

    jesus, he's on the ropes!

Cross needs to up it quickly or he's gone.

  • Registered Users Posts: 484 ✭✭FarmerBrowne

    Wow, fair play to him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,390 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Last year’s Rob Cross would’ve hit that 121.

And Humphries wins it, delighted for the lad!

what odds was he when 2 sets down??

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,132 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Well played young Humphries. He can play for sure.

Having said that Cross was shocking bad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,559 ✭✭✭bassy

unreal to be 2-0 down and come back to take 4 straight sets, the future of darts looks frightening.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,726 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

    Humphries was excellent.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,755 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Great performance by Humphries, Cross a class act, very gracious in defeat.

Maybe Cross will play better now that the burden of being reigning world champ is gone
