He comes across as a nice young guy too.

No pressure on Ando and he will stroll to victory

Anderson is so good when he's on form. Hammers the trebles, great to watch

SMall opening of a chance for Chisnall here - he badly needs to take it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,700 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Huge double 1 to give himself darets for the set. Could there be a turnaround? Anderson's last 2 legs have been poor.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,700 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Big moment there, Chisnall given himself a chance at 1-3 instead of being 4 sets down. Hopefully it'll tighten up a bit.

Great darts Dave, he had to play like fuck to win that set and he deserved it.

Poor attempt at an 87 checkout from Chisnall leaves the door open and Anderson shows him how it's done. I actually don't know if I've ever seen a pro miss a bull by that much before.

In fairness though it's hard to win when the other guy is checking out from a ton+ regularly.
Anderson's scoring may have cooled off a bit but his checkouts are ridiculous.

Yeah, it's been a pretty complete performance so far. Not much wiggle room for Chisnall to get back into the match.

fair play to Chizzy, hanging in there

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,133 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Hopefully Anderson can do what he did in the first three sets for the whole of the semi.

Great 171 to setup the finish from Anderson. Fair play to Chisnall for coming back into it. Big difference in attitude between him and Dolan earlier when they were both behind the 8 ball very early in the match.

Hopefully we'll get ot see an MVG v Anderson semi now, don't want to see another upset.

Can;t see Joyce giving MvG a game, so roll on tomorrow night!

Yeah but it's clear he wants to get games won or as soon as possible due to the clear discomfort he's in. Also talking to David croft can't be that much fun.

Two disappointing QFs, hopefully this evening's games are better although I can't see MVG dropping more than one set.

I'd agree that it's been an underwhelming tournament so far, not helped by the crowd who seem to get worse every year.

think ando sticks or goes ahead of mvg early - then loses
dont get lads doubting his injury - why the hell would he make it up

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,700 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

slack from SMith to start the game. Could've and should've been 2 up. That might settle Humphries.

It's such a good chance for Smith to get to the final

He'll never get a better chance.

7 minutes for the first set. Hopefully Humphries finds his feet quickly or this will be over before he knows it.

Smith looks on it early on. It's the Anderson match all over again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,495 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

Doubt Smith will do a Cross from last night. Looks very focused.

Humphries looks like he doesn't want to be there. Very uncomfortable looking on stage. He just has to hang on mentally and hope Smith cools off.
