Home automation Control tablet

Hi guys,
i was thinking i would like an home automation Main tablet type device to act as a full full home control to work with ALEXIA, i remember watching the osbournes and ozzy used to walk around with his tablet and control everything, THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT.

i was looking a lenova yogapad with some sort of app that is for home control just with the apps for the house this has a nice intergrated stand also.

am i wasting my time and should focus on the voice , handsfree path?

All done with the default install of Home assistant accessible through a web browser. It's very much a work in progress but gives an idea just what it's capable of. I'm adding stuff gradually but I plan on using Dashboard or similar later https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/ecosystem/hadashboard/

Yes, lots of voice commands to Google homes. I have one on the sitting room and another in the kitchen.

I presume this is possible on a fire show tablet?
I'd love to be able to flick between Alexa and the home assistant dashboard

Yes. Those images are of a web page that can be accessed by any device browser. I have the bookmark saved to the home screen of tablet I leave in the sitting room.
