Best savings account for 12-18 months

Hi all, I have some cash in the bank that will, in about 18 months, be used to build a house. In the interim, where is the best place (savings account) to put it? Many thanks, Conor

The highest rate for a 1 year term deposit is 0.75% AER fixed with KBC up to 100,000 EUR with a KBC 12 Month Fixed Rate account. You must open a KBC Extra Current Account to get this rate and deposit at least 2,500 EUR per month into this account.

If the above is too complex, both KBC and PTSB pay 0.50% AER Fixed on 1 year term deposits.
