Think the ball might be a bit slippery.

Tadgh Berne winning a penalty there...His a monster on ruck time

Great by scannell, and great kick by carbery

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,875 ✭✭✭budhabob

Munster not being clinical , we're on top so far, but the first points on the board will be huge

Not loving that Munster jersey, has a very strong bus chair cover vibe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,375 ✭✭✭✭prawnsambo

Silly to kick it there. With the wind, it's just giving Exeter massive territory

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

No way the Exeter player was holding up his own weight there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Cloete passing from the ruck actually has more zip than Williams’.

THAT'S AN OUTRAGEOUS PENALTY WHO IS THIS REF WHAAAAA

No way the Exeter player was holding up his own weight there.

Also had one offside player affecting Munster players

Williams box kicking into a strong wind, still trying to stick it up into the sky

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,994 ✭✭✭c.p.w.g.w

Is that 2 turnovers and a penalty from Berne so far today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,875 ✭✭✭budhabob

Great steal by beirne and grubber by goggin

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Forwards taking it too much. No shape in attack.

This is an absolute battle. Relentless, couple of lads already looking out on their feet.

    Zero imagination in the redzone

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Great defense from Exeter, but Munster really one dimensional in attack.

    Zero imagination in the redzone

With the wind the way it is, think it might be logical.

My constant criticism of Williams has two main points:

    1. He gets dominated by his forwards
    2. His mind is made up too much before he gets to rucks, if he’s going right then that’s it, even if it’s just Carberry and Conway there

This is a great display so far by Munster.
    Delighted with this.

Clever but cynical again from Kvesic. Ruining the advantage before it gets going.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,107 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Got so sick of the dodgy stream went over to the local and on the Lucozade cause I'm in work later

Odd game but nice to be level

Beirne is having a brilliant game. Himself and Kleyn compliment each other well.

Munster will take this after 30 against the strong wind.

I’m going to be sick of typing Kvesic by the end of this, just flopped onto his knee before attempting the steal.
    Neck roll on archer too.

That's really, really poor from Slade.

I'd credit good defensive pressure from Munster for that

Right in front of the ref with Archer staring at him

I'm surprised by how unimaginative Exeter are. Munster are just soaking up everything they try and there's no plan B.

If Munster get to half time level and have that wind in the second half, they'll fancy it

Wasn't even a roll he was trying to pop his head off

If it gets to half time at this score you'd have to fancy Munster.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Exeter are clamping on players more than the ball and making it look like they’re stealing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Bloody hell, Exeter take the ball forward 15m from the knock on and that isn't advantage over?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,730 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

This is a very boring game to watch.

  • Registered Users Posts: 579 ✭✭✭Heymans

Kleynes side of the scrum going back there

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,220 ✭✭✭cameramonkey

exeter should be kicking to the corners, munster will in the second half.

If munster can keep the score down in the first half they will be in a great position to win.

This is a very boring game to watch.

It’s not really, they can’t all be barnstormers.
This is on the attritional side of things.

Awful time to concede a try.

The danger of that is what we just saw. The wind.

Is that 3 or 4 penalties on POM?

Don’t worry it will open up in the second half. The battle for supremacy in the first is the interesting part

    Wind clearly caught it!

    Bad time to concede.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,875 ✭✭✭budhabob

    Uh oh

    Edit: phew

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,107 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Conway that was ****ing stupid but obv no intent

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,730 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

That was absolutely brain dead from Conway.

    Conway's lucky there.

    Another red would've carded him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,817 ✭✭✭Tigerandahalf

2 very similar styles here - a bit of bish bosh. Incredibly slow play at the ruck. We could do with a 5 second rule there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Extremely lucky there, Exeter staff will have major questions there

I'm really surprised he got away with it. He had to have run early there.

Conway should have been sent off there. Late and extremely dangerous. Should have been a penalty too. Munster lucky.
